a liminal space love story


two individuals move to hong kong wandering through aimless crowds. one whose homecoming fades in the glow of the luminescent faces from advertisements on bus shelters. the other blinks through the crowds, their unknown faces and languages glaze across the fluorescent lights until they disappear into the comforts of a room where the city seemed as nice as when they thought it a good idea to move there and would they be pushed closer if they walk together, glanced off the empty screened tv's until the things they can't have become merely the subject of things to talk about at various tables in restaurants

in the crowd...
